Alethse joined ICHOM in late 2016 as a Project Leader on Standardization team. Prior to joining ICHOM, she worked as an infectious diseases consultant in Latin-America and on programmes to improve the quality and safety of patient care. Alethse is a Patients for Patient Safety Champion- Mexico. Alethse received her medical degrees from the UNAM, Mexico and a Master of Public Health in Developing Countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
