Mona Khalid BSC (HONS) MSC PHD

Mona Khalid has joined in July 2018 as the Vice President of Outcomes Research and Development, based in the London office. Prior to joining ICHOM, Mona spent 10 years in the life sciences industry, leading teams to demonstrate the value of medical interventions. She has joined from Takeda, where she was Global Head of Evidence and Value Generation responsible for designing and selecting outcome measures for use in randomised controlled trials and registries. In addition, she led the global strategy for real-world evidence generation as new, innovative medicines were launched and made available for use in clinical practice.

Prior to her tenure in the life sciences industry, she held academic roles at the Institute of Child Health, University College London specialising in newborn screening and implementation and at the University of Toronto, specialising in Women’s Health. She has undertaken management leadership training at the MIT Sloan School of Business. She holds a BSc. (Hons) in biology from the University of Waterloo (Canada), and a MSc. in biomedical science at St. George’s University, London (UK). In 2013, she completed her PhD in epidemiology at University College London (UK).
