Wouter van Leeuwen is a Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Amsterdam. Since joining BCG in 2004, he has supported multiple health care providers, health insurers, medtech companies and pharma companies on key strategic and organizational effectiveness topics.

· Providers
Wouter has supported several hospitals in implementing Value Based Healthcare, leading to significant improvements in patient outcomes and efficiency. Beyond that, Wouter has supported multiple hospital mergers, focused on creating centers of excellence per medical condition with improved quality and higher efficiency. And several value-based cost transformations in order to achieve a step-change in cost efficiency while protecting or even improving the quality of care.

· Health insurers
Wouter is working with health insurers on the topics of medical value management, advanced analytics and value based reimbursement models in order enable providers and patients to achieve the best possible quality of care at the lowest possible cost

· MedTech and Pharma
Wouter works with leading global MedTech and Pharma companies on a wide range of strategic topics, with a specific focus on supporting the transformation from ‘products’ to ‘value-based solutions’.
