Erik van Raaij is Professor of Purchasing & Supply Management in Healthcare at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management (ESHPM), both at Erasmus University (Rotterdam). His current research interests include Healthcare Contracting, Heathcare Supply Management, Buyer-Supplier Relationships, and Empirical Research Methods. His work has been published in international academic journals such as Health Policy, Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management and California Management Review.
Erik van Raaij is Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management. He is a high performance member of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management, member of the Executive Committee of the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA), member of the Academy of Management, and of the Dutch Purchasing Association (NEVI). Erik van Raaij teaches in various courses at the MSc and Executive level such as Healthcare Procurement and Value Chain Management, Healthcare Supply Chain Management, and Empirical Research Methods, and has received several awards and commendations for teaching excellence. He is an engaged speaker on topics such as Value-Based Healthcare, Purchasing Value, Trust and Opportunism in Buyer-Supplier Relationships, and Ethics and Integrity in Empirical Research.
