ICHOM President and CEO Jennifer Bright has been featured among international healthcare leaders contributing to the key insights emerging from the Hospital C-Suite Summit 2026, held in Madrid earlier this year.
The Summit brought together hospital executives and healthcare leaders from around the world to explore some of the most pressing challenges facing health systems today – from artificial intelligence and digital transformation to workforce pressures, cybersecurity and the changing role of healthcare leadership.
Following the event, the Hospital C-Suite Summit has published “10 Things We Learned at Hospital C-Suite Summit 2026,” bringing together some of the major themes and perspectives that emerged from discussions in Madrid.
Jennifer joined leaders from health systems and organisations around the world in contributing to these conversations, bringing ICHOM’s perspective on the importance of patient-centred outcomes and value-based healthcare.
For ICHOM, the discussions reinforce an important principle: transformation in healthcare needs to be grounded in a clear understanding of the outcomes that matter to patients. As new technologies, including AI, become increasingly embedded within health systems, measuring their success should go beyond adoption or efficiency alone to consider their impact on the outcomes and experiences of the people receiving care.
The Summit’s reflections also highlight the importance of strong leadership in turning healthcare strategy into meaningful change, bringing together people, technology and measurement to create health systems that deliver better value for patients.
ICHOM is pleased to contribute to this global conversation and to work alongside healthcare leaders committed to improving outcomes and accelerating the transition towards value-based healthcare.
