José Delgado, M.D., is a beacon of integrity, driving strategic partnerships at ICHOM with unparalleled fervor and expertise. With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, he has left an indelible mark on disability care, women's health, addiction medicine, and equitable healthcare policy. Before stepping into his pivotal role in advancing value-based care, José honed his expertise as an emergency medicine clinician at esteemed institutions such as LA County+USC Medical Center and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is a proud alumnus of UC Berkeley, The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program.
Beyond his professional pursuits, José finds joy in the company of his beloved sheepadoodle, "Reggie Dogado," and is drawn to the vibrant energy of live music. Additionally, José embraces his adventurous spirit as an avid international surfer, finding solace and inspiration in the rhythm of the waves.
