ICHOM is excited to announce a new partnership with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) to expand the ICHOM Accreditation Program across several international regions. This collaboration will help more hospitals and health systems adopt value-based healthcare by focusing on outcomes that matter most to patients.
ACHSI will introduce and support ICHOM Accreditation within its global network, bringing decades of expertise in quality improvement and accreditation. According to ICHOM President and CEO Jennifer Bright, ACHSI’s trusted relationships and deep experience make it a strong partner in advancing outcome measurement and value-based care.
Dr Karen Luxford, Group CEO of ACHS and ACHS International, highlighted that the partnership will help more organisations embed outcomes-driven improvement into everyday practice. Together, both teams aim to accelerate the shift toward care models where patient outcomes guide quality and performance.
The ICHOM Accreditation framework offers providers a clear, globally recognised way to measure, compare, and improve patient outcomes. With support from ACHSI, more organisations will be able to implement ICHOM’s standardised outcome sets and strengthen transparency, learning, and clinical excellence.
