ICHOM partner Capadev has just published “A successful model for KSA-based payor-provider collaborative in maternity care” in the Journal of Patient-Reported Outcomes, a peer-reviewed study co-authored with Bupa Arabia’s Value Based Care & Health Center team.
The paper details a multicenter Value-Based Healthcare Collaborative rolled out across four tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia between July 2024 and July 2025, using the ICHOM Pregnancy and Childbirth Set.
The study enrolled 802 women, with PROMs and CROMs digitally collected at five predefined points along the maternity journey. The results demonstrate that standardized outcomes measurement is both feasible and operationally effective at scale: approximately one-third of women achieved clinically meaningful improvements across key domains, including mental health, continence, breastfeeding confidence, and bonding.
As an ICHOM Implementation and Accreditation Co-Development Partner, Capadev is an end- to-end Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) delivery enabler and platform. Its Value in Health Agent, ViHA, is a 360° platform that powers care pathways and outcomes measurement and actionable analytics for every patient and at scale, in addition to administering value-based contracts.
