We are pleased to announce that the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) is now part of the Patient Partner Alliance.

The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) is a more than 85,000 member-strong National non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals affected by obesity through education, advocacy and support. The OAC is the largest organization comprised of individuals affected by obesity and fights to improve access to obesity treatments while fighting weight bias and discrimination. OAC also produces a wide variety of unbiased educational resources, distributed free of charge to the public, to raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of obesity.

The OAC is recognized as the nation’s leading voice for individuals affected by obesity. While we have made significant strides in raising obesity awareness, making a difference in weight bias and discrimination, and increasing access to obesity treatments, our voice needs to continue growing.
