Yasmine is a Medical Engineer driven by her passion for physics, mathematics, and healthcare innovation. She earned her Master's degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Leeds, where she focused on advancing bone quality assessment using MRI imaging—an alternative to conventional CT scans. Transitioning to her PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Yasmine continued her work on medical advancements concentrating on enhancing patient outcomes. Specifically, reducing the risk of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia and other tracheal complications by improving technological designs and sensing.
