Launched in March 2017, BigData@Heart is a five-year project of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), a EU public-private consortium consisting of patient networks, learned societies, SMEs, pharmaceutical companies and academia.
The project has three main objectives:
- To deliver clinically relevant disease phenotypes underpinning research and innovation;
- To deliver scalable insights from real world evidence, clinical- and pharmaco-epidemiology;
- To deliver through advanced analytics insights driving drug development and personalised medicine.
ICHOM is a member of the project consortium and as part of the five-year project will be developing a Standard Set for Atrial Fibrilliation (AF) as well as looking at other cardiovascular conditions and data! Please visit here for updates and how to get involved with the development of the AF Standard Set!
